I Love this!
Found your link at luxologys forum, since you wrote in English there I would think that you can understand this as well?
I have not seen any better result on Luxologys forum from a non-pro.
How did you comb that hair? Is it a plugin?
Do you think Modo is a good 3D application for these kind of large prints?
God speed
Yes, I speak both Swedish and English!
Was even thinking of translating the content entirly to English in future.
You are kind, this is my first attempt, and there is allot of experience missing. Proportions for example.
The hair is actually modos own hair plugin. It has certanly improved since 401, when I last tried modo.
I have not tried out modo that much for animation yet. Modelling, texturing and rendering works without any problems with Modo. Very efficient tool set.
Sincerely
Michael
it. The 3D render can match a photo look, where the lack of color vtaariion and black shadows might be what the artist was after. To match the way such a scene would look to a plein air painter observing with the eye, there would need to be much more vtaariion in the green and more open darks. Then again the 3D render could be taken in all sorts of other artistic directions, such as the cool stuff the Blue Sky Studios people are doing with their WIP ”Epic.”Vlad, I’ve seen that 3D reconstruction of the battle scene. Any way to embed/share that video?
I was going for a soft box look.
There is allot of skillset missing in order for to make it as I saw it in my imagination. This is my first try for a posed human.
There should probably be more color involved in my painting. I limited the colors in canvas, but I think it might have been a bit to much red and yellow.
You can embed this video by either ”right-click” and choosing copy embed code or you could press the vimeo link in order to get more embed options.
Thanks for the insert! =)
Sincerely
